This is good for me because I can find both airline and airport codes on one page without changing websites. So for example, if I need to look up AY, boom – Finnair. SEA? Seattle. It just makes things easier, you know?

Time Difference Calculations Matter

Yeah um, another crucial travel manager training tips is learning how to calculate time differences quickly. I actually asked ChatGPT how to do this, but you can do your own research too. The basic method is splitting the time into hours and minutes, subtract the hours first, then handle the minutes. If the end minutes are less than the start time, borrow an hour – it’s that simple.

Practice Reading Flight Itineraries

All right so, this is where travel manager training tips get really practical. You’ll be reading these terrifying GDS format itineraries and converting them into normal human language for customers. The course gives you the structure, but I urge you to practice it over and over again.

Don’t Rush the Knowledge Tests

If you don’t pass on the third try, your account gets terminated. So uh, don’t rush into these tests. Review the previous modules first, and only start when you’re confident.
